Morning cuntos.
I dropped my iPhone X down the carsey the other day and its a write off, won’t even turn on.
I’ve bought an iPhone 6s to replace it and inserted by sim and entered by Apple ID.
Although it has transferred over all my contacts, nothing else has transferred onto the he new phone. No apps, no photos, nothing.
My understand of ‘cloud’ was that al my stuff is stored up in the cloud and should just pop onto my new phone.
When I look in settings it says that I have two phones linked to my Apple ID - the iPhone X and the 6s.
Can anyone help advise me on how to get all my stuff onto my new phone?
I’ve been wiping my nob on it all night to no avail

The problem with the waterproof thing is I’d cracked the screen which I hadn’t been able to fix because of poxy lockdown

Bruuuno you need to check what your sync to cloud settings were. Contacts is a default. This is because photos take up a lot of space. You storage capacity might not have been large enough.

Branded its water resistant not water proof. Still dropping it in the bog hole shouldn't fuck it up.

One of the better yootoobers out there Louis Rossman has a site devoted to repair and saving of unrecoverable date for Apple products etc.
Despite Apple products being his bread and butter, he's not a fan of the company, at all.

Can't help, but intrigued by tales of people doing this. What are you actually doing? Texting while pissing? Planning to do so? God forbid, phoning someone while you have a shit??

That’s what I thought at first colly but it’s not transferred any photos etc either so I don’t think that
